I found out about the athletic flooring industry when a high school coach of mine had said there was a hardwood flooring company looking for dedicated employees. That company was Praters Flooring. I got the job and started the Monday after I graduated high school, and stayed for over two years. The first floor I ever worked on was for the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil. After the first few months of training and seeing the process in action, I grew a love and passion for this craft like nothing else. I wanted to know everything about both the business side, and the labor side of this industry. Throughout my time spent with Praters Flooring, I got the opportunity to work on some of the biggest floors in basketball. Including the Boston Celtics, the Atlanta Hawks, the Powerade Jam Fest, and McDonald's All-American game, both the SEC men’s and women’s tournament, the Sweet 16, Elite 8, and the NCAA Final Four floors, and countless other portable floors. I have worked in all areas of athletic flooring, and have great experience in all aspects! Very proud to make this dream of ours become a reality with a great team and support group!
