B & W Flooring

B & W Flooring entered my life in Summer 2019 and I have been overjoyed to continue on my journey with them. Currently enrolled in Berea College, I not only am following a newfound dream in the hardwood flooring industry, but I am also pursuing a degree in Political Science. When I was growing up in a small town in West Virginia, I never would have imagined I would be where I am today. The family I have found with the people in this company has grown out of the perspectives we all bring. The perspective I bring to this company comes from a life of service and dedication to my community. Throughout my life I have have the opportunity to work with multiple non-profits in West Virginia and Kentucky including the Youth Leadership Association and the NAIL Initiative. My work with these businesses allow me to bring a perspective on business modeling to the company. I also have been award various honors because of my service work, such as the Eagle Scout award and a position as a Bonner Scholar. My current work with community programming as an Assistant Manager of the Forestry Outreach Center at Berea College allows me to bring knowledge in areas such as marketing, community connection, and budgeting to the company. I am happy to be working with such intelligent, hardworking people who are using their skill to bring communities together through a literal solid foundation: hardwood flooring.
